HEAD OF CORPS MESSAGE OF THE DAY
To the members of AACC,
It is with great sadness that I advise the broader AACC community of the passing of Warrant Officer Class Two Daniel Kevin Garry Williams, aged 44. Dan became known to many of you whilst in training and postings that included SASR, 2 Cav Regt, 1 CSSB, 16 ALR and 13 CSSB. Throughout over 21 years of service he served not only the Australian Army, the Corps but also his friends and colleagues.
At this stage a funeral service in Perth is being arranged for Wednesday, 13th August 2025, with specific details to be promulgated via a soon-to-be-released DEFGRAM. It is likely there will be a livestream viewing of the service with details to follow. Updates related to funeral arrangements and other related activities will be relayed by RSM AACC through a variety of means.
The recent response by those who were close to Dan throughout his service has been commendable and is a testament to his legacy. In these difficult times our thoughts are with Dan’s friends, colleagues and 13 CSSB but most importantly his family.
