Pat (Nobby) Noble - He was an original British SAS member, serving in Africa in WWII and a long term member of the Victorian Branch.

Sadly, we must advise you all that our 'original' British SAS member, Pat 'Nobby' Noble, peacefully passed away last Friday evening, the 25th of March.
 
Nobby was in the original SAS in North Africa in 1941 when David Sterling formed the unit. He has been a long term member of our Victorian Branch. The photo attached is of Nobby in 2007 with the then Governor General, Major General the Honourable Michael Jeffery AC, CVO, MC.
 
Nobby’s funeral took place in Frankston, Victoria on the 4th April 2016.
